What is TAPfit? Who is the program for?

TAPfit is an online dance program designed for anybody, anywhere! Whether you want to learn to dance, lose weight or just get moving… TAPfit is an easy-to-follow program that can fit into even the busiest of lives! All you need is your phone and 20 minutes a day. The philosophy behind TAPfit is simple: move joyfully for 20 minutes a day, eat real food, take time out when you need it and surround yourself with a supportive community.

I already have TAPfit, is this different?

This is the new TAPfit App! Instead of a 6-week program, the TAPfit app has ongoing content with new dances, recipes, meditations and masterclasses monthly!

Is TAPfit an app?

Yes! We recently released the TAPfit App - this means you can access TAPfit more easily than ever! With a 7 day free trial, you can have a dance party every day in your living room!

Do I need Tap Shoes?

Not at all! You can learn to tap dance without using the TAPfit taps, or you can do our no-equipment dance workouts like barre, hip-hop, broadway, jazz and seated workouts.

Do you just teach tap dancing?

Tap dancing is just one program in TAPfit! We also have no equipment dance workouts like barre, hip-hop, broadway, jazz, seated workouts and meditations.

What kind of diet is in TAPfit?

We believe that real food is the best food! This means our recipes are packed full of delicious whole foods and nutritious ingredients. We don’t believe in restrictive eating, so you will still find favorites like lasagne, pizza and pasta in our meal plans! With a huge passion for food from our founders, we believe food is there to nourish, share and enjoy.

Do I have to calorie count?

Not at all. We don’t believe in restrictive eating at TAPfit. Food is a privilege to be shared and enjoyed! We focus on recipes that are packed full of delicious whole foods and nutritious ingredients so no calorie counting is needed.

What sort of workouts are they?

Signing up to TAPfit gives you access to a huge range of dance workouts and masterclasses that you can do from home, whenever it fits in with your day! You’ll have Tap Dance, Barre, Broadway, Hip Hop, Jazz, Meditations and Masterclasses - each of which is guided by our Master TAPfit Instructors.

Do I need a gym or fitness equipment?

All you need is some space in your living room and your phone, laptop or TV! You can do any of the TAPfit dance styles and create great results. The only equipment we use in TAPfit are our tap shoes and floors, which are not mandatory, and you can purchase at any time through our website.

Can I do the workouts if I am pregnant?

We recommend consulting with your doctor before starting TAPfit or any fitness program if you are pregnant or during post-natal.

Does the meal plan cater to dietary needs?

The nutrition section of your TAPfit app allows you to select from Vegetarian or Regular dietary requirements. When it comes to your meal plan, you have full control to swap recipes for alternative options! With hundreds of recipes to choose from, you’ll always find something you love!

Is TAPfit hard to do?

All of our dance routines are easy to learn. The best part is - they are FUN! If you can walk on the spot, you can do TAPfit.

Are the tap shoes slippery?

Our taps have a non-slip rubber gripper so you can safely dance your heart out without any chance of slipping.

Does TAPfit teach tap dance?

Absolutely! Our Home System is a complete tap dance program complete with step by step guides and a 6-week workout program.

How often do you workout in TAPfit?

We want you to love moving your body - which is why we made TAPfit so fun! There is no set number of dance workouts that you need to do each week, however for optimal health we love to move our bodies 3-4x a week.
